Details:
8 winners of the contest are given the chance to meet the members of Ace.of.Base (we can't guarantee that the whole band will be able to attend).
Contest:
Compose a story incorporating Ace of Base song titles. Entries will be judged on originality/coherence (minimum 10 song titles).
For example:
For Céline Dion:
I drove all night but I’m all by myself. I wish you were here so I could tell you I’m alive. If you asked me to I would sing a song for you, because you loved me and love doesn’t ask why. I’m taking chances and I surrender to the power of love. I don’t like the movie Beauty & The Beast but I would watch to make you happy. When I fall in love, I live for the one I love. That’s the way it is.
Be creative and have fun with it!
Contest Guidelines:
1. Story length shall be minimum 150 words, with a maximum of 250 words.
2. The story is not expected to simply be song titles stringed together randomly. The entry is judged on originality; therefore titles can be inserted cleverly inside a funny or interesting (very short) story. The story must be reasonably coherent.
3. Stories must be written in English.
4. Formatting: Please bold or italicise song titles so that they can be easily seen in your story.
5. Entrants must have arranged their own tickets to the show @ Queer Beer Festival

6. Must be 19 years or older as per requirements of Queer Beer Festival.
7. Submission deadline: July 28th 2011
8. To submit story:
a. Copy and paste your story into the body of the email.
b. The email address is: contest@ace-of-base.com. Remember to use bold or italics for song titles.
d. Include your full name and contact information
e. Submit by July 25th, 2011. No entries past 23:59 on the 25th.
The winners will be announced on the band's website and contacted by email!

Been an Ace of Base fan since 1995 and never seen you in concert. Please come back to Canada so that I will finally get that chance.
